Clad your bathroom in natural stone, using Lapicida’s luxurious yet eminently affordable Argento tiles. Made from Jura stone, the tiles come in widths of 40cm but the lengths are random, between 60-90cm. This means you can lay them in a brickwork style or other irregular layouts according to preference. There’s a choice of two thicknesses: 1cm for wall tiles, 2cm for floor tiles. Shown here on the main walls and floor at the Argento Jura honed tiles, £47 per m2. On the wall behind the basins is the Jura Snapface textured stone, £120 per m2. The bathroom furniture comprises: Laufen’s Pro double-ended bath, L180xW80cm, £677; Laufen’s Pro A counter-top basins, L64xW40cm, £194 each; Pegler Visio monobloc basin mixer, £224; Zehnder’s Fassane towel rail in quartz brown, £515.
Design tip: When tiling a bathroom, don’t be afraid to combine textures and colours, because a large bathroom clad in just one tile can look monotonous. Instead break-up the look by covering one wall in a complementary tile, which might have a different texture and be lighter or darker in tone.
