I’m after a drawer-style dishwasher to fit a 560mm-wide space. Please can you help?
This one has been quite a tall (or rather narrow) order, let me tell you! Anyhow, I’ve done a bit of digging around to help find a suitable model. Fisher & Paykel sells a fantastic range of drawer dishwashers but unfortunately they measure 599mm wide. However, there is the Electrolux Inspire ESL2450, which measures H447×W545×D494, and though it has a flap-down door, it has a pull-out basket. It has a noise rating of 45dB(A), takes six placesettings and has a 7-litre water consumption.
You could opt for the Atag VA5511AT integrated dishwasher, which is a standard type not a drawer style. Sized H762×W550×D50mm, it ticks all the boxes size-wise and also boasts some pretty cool functions. Its AAA energy rating gets top marks, and its low noise level of 43db(A) will ensure dinner parties aren’t interrupted by rumbling sounds. The model also has an automatic half-load function and delayed start programme. It has 11 placesettings and a 13-litre water consumption. www.atag.co.uk
You could consider one of the compact in-line dishwasher styles, which can be banked in a group of appliances; this may help to free up your kitchen layout. Check out Baumatic’s OMBRA4 or BD696SS, Siematic’s SK76M530GB or SC76M530GB, Neff’s S65M63N0GB or Bosch’s Active Water Smart modular models. Good luck!
Baumatic’s compact BD696SS dishwasher can be neatly built into a bank of appliances, as here above an oven. The model is AAA rated, takes six placesettings, has a noise level of 49dB(A) and uses 8 litres of water per cycle. It measures W558×H450×D548mm with a W598×H457x D20mm fascia. £599. www.baumatic.co.uk
