Design tip: Keeping to a narrow colour scheme of black and tones of grey ensures all colours harmonise well. The useful shelf below the coffee machine could be forgotten but it has been highlighted in a natural wood finish to encourage its use while making coffee. The natural finish also visually links the cabinetry to the table and benches. Painted in palest grey the cabinetry maximises the natural light coming from the roof lantern above.
